About Us

Rescue with purpose. Support for life.

UltiMutt RSQ is a Christ-centered, veteran-led 501(c)(3) dog rescue committed to helping at-risk dogs find safety, care, transport, and the right home. We believe rescue should be thoughtful, responsible, and rooted in lasting support for both dogs and adopters.

Our Mission

Why we exist

Our mission is to identify dogs at risk, coordinate safe rescue, arrange the care and transport they need, and place them in homes that are prepared to love them well.

We are committed to doing rescue with intention. That means we do not simply move dogs from one place to another. We work to build a real path forward for each dog through planning, placement, support, and follow-through.

We believe every dog deserves more than a second chance. They deserve a safe plan, honest advocacy, and people who stay committed.
Our Story

How UltiMutt RSQ began

UltiMutt RSQ wasn’t born from a business plan. It was born from lived experience years of rescuing, seeing the gaps in the system, and carrying memories of suffering that no living being should endure. UltiMutt RSQ grew out of a vision my wife, Nichole, carried years ago a vision shaped by compassion for the forgotten, the abandoned, and the misunderstood. What began as a burden on her heart became a shared calling, and today we are working together to give that vision life through rescue, advocacy, and long-term support for dogs in need.

After serving overseas, I learned firsthand how deeply it hurts to be vulnerable and unprotected, and how powerful it is when someone steps in to protect those who cannot protect themselves. My faith in Christ taught me that stepping in is not just kindness it is stewardship, a responsibility to care for what God has entrusted to us.

My wife, Nichole, and I have spent our lives opening our home to the forgotten, the abandoned, and the misunderstood. Every dog we have rescued has shaped us. Every story has strengthened our resolve. Every act of compassion has reminded us that we can do better not only for our own animals, but for every animal who needs a safe path forward.

UltiMutt RSQ is our commitment to every animal we serve: to move with dignity, respond with discipline, and protect with compassion. This work is an extension of our faith, our service, and our belief that every life entrusted to us deserves to be treated with the care and honor God intended.

How We Work

What rescue looks like in practice

  • 1
Identify dogs at risk We keep an eye on urgent dogs and focus on cases where intervention can create a real path to safety.
  • 2
Build a workable rescue plan We only move forward when there is a realistic next step, whether that means transport, foster placement, adopter readiness, or medical support.
  • 3
Coordinate transport, care, and placement We help connect the pieces that move a dog from danger to stability, including freedom rides, veterinary care, communication, and placement support.
  • 4
Stay committed after placement We believe rescue should not end at adoption. Ongoing support helps dogs and families settle in with confidence.
What Matters To Us

The values behind the work

Compassion with responsibility

Heart matters, but so does planning. We work to make decisions that are kind, realistic, and sustainable.

Honest rescue

People deserve clear communication about dogs, needs, next steps, and the realities of placement and support.

Commitment that lasts

We care deeply about what happens after transport, after adoption, and after the excitement has faded.

Trust & Transparency

Why supporters can trust our work

Trust matters in rescue. Supporters, fosters, adopters, and partners need to understand who we are, how we work, and what kind of commitment we make to the dogs in our care.
